CONTEST OVERVIEW
The INMA/PUBLIGroupe Innovative Business Models Contest is an international case study competition for media companies to submit what they consider to be Innovative Business Models. The competition is designed to understand how media companies extend their brand to:

        •  Fill a new market space

        •  Attract new audiences

        •  Generate new revenue streams

The concept for this competition came about as both INMA and PUBLIGroupe noticed that newspapers are constantly looking for new developments in the printed paper as well as the other products: websites, mobile telephony, user-provided content, blogs, and more -- to attract new advertising revenues. The reality is that most publishers have many platforms and can offer cross media advertising rates and possibilities; however the business world around them still thinks in terms of printed newspaper, separate from a website, separate from TV, radio, mobile phones, etc...

Format change has already shaken the traditional pricing models for advertising space, and INMA and PUBLIGroupe found themselves asking, "What is next?"
